Photography

The Haast area is a photographer's paradise with some of the best light you will find in New Zealand. For the landscape photographer there are deserted beaches strewn with driftwood, pounding surf, stunning sunrises and sunsets and seven pristine river valleys to chose from — all with a magnificent backdrop of ancient rainforest and rugged mountains. A walk in the forest or our wetlands will provide the nature photographer with everything they dream of, native birds, fungi, native orchids and wonderful flora and fauna.

Neroli is a keen photographer and her website www.nerolinolan.com will show you some of the photography opportunities just minutes from Collyer House.
